I have to confess that I can't resist a tiny pair of shoes. I've been tempted to buy Ally several pairs during her first year; let's see...there were the glittery, black mary janes...the camo ballet flats...and my favorite - the translucent pink jelly sandals.
But I resisted my impulse to buy her any of those shoes because they weren't necessary since she wasn't even walking. Shoes have definitely been in the want category.
Until now. Ally is very close to being able to walk. And since she will soon be a nomadic toddler, I bought her a cute pair of brown and pink Sketcher wannabes. She also has a pair of pale pink, embellished shoes that were given to her by a coworker of her dad's.
These are the shoes she will be sporting this season.

Just for the fun of it, I decided to include my wishlist of baby girl shoes...just in case I run into a few hundred dollars (yes, these are all that expensive).

Okay...if this post doesn't give me baby girl fever, I don't know what will! :) Keep your fingers crossed that it's a girl next!
We had those brown baby girl shoes for Tara and they were so cute! she wore them for a long time. Once Tara took off one shoe at the mall and I went back to get it because I liked them so much. And I found it!!! that's even more surprising.
